Dear lybrate-user
if you are still having shortness of breath, perhaps a dose increment is required after doing a lung function test. Inhalers are the best way to treat asthma with no side effects so do not worry about it being a habit if inhalers are taken correctly, at this age, there are very high chances that they will be stopped in a while. Most teenagers recover completely before adulthood.
So please do not worry and consult your chest physician regards.

Pollen, mold, and other allergens do more than cause itchy eyes and a runny nose. They can also irritate the airways in your lungs. This can trigger an asthma attack and make it hard for you to take normal breaths. Let's have a detailed discussion for better advice and medication plan.

An attack may be brought on by contact with substances to which the person is sensitive and emotional or dietary factors should not be overlooked. A sudden change of temperature can bring on an attack. Some alleviation of the symptoms may be obtained with the use of the appropriate tissue salts. Consult privately so as to question you to ascertain your personality and ailment. Permanent cure is available in biochemics. In the mean time try cuprum ars, kali phos.
