Hi! Fungal infections are common due to hot humid weather. Wear loose cotton clothes. Keep the body parts dry. Change underclothes regularly. Changing quickly out of wet, sweaty clothes can reduce the chances of fungal skin infections. Do not share clothes, towels etc. Apply clotrimazole cream twice a day on itchy areas for 6 weeks. If no satisfactory improvement, please see a nearby dermatologist for further assessment.

Hello lybrate-user. Onabet b is a combination of steroid and antifungal. The steroid decreases the problem for short term and increases it later. Fungal infections are flat and round to look at and very itchy. If you are developing lumps it is a different disease. I would like to suggest you to stop using onabet b and consult your dermatologist for the same.

Nowadays fungal infection has become very resistant to treatment. We need to give oral medicines along with topical creams for a longer time to treat the infection. You need to iron your clothes to prevent recurrence.
