It's about 10 days of this mouth ulcer. It pains. I used amlexanox 5% oral paste on the ulcer for last 7 days and took vitamin b. But it is present still now and pains. Tow days ago, I went to doctor and he suggested the medicine (cefixime 400 mg). I also had pain to tensile. What should I do?

Please do not take any medicine on your own. You would need to get a semen culture and sensitivity test to identify the organism causing the infection and to identify suitable medicine to cure it. If your prostate is infected it may take longer to cure it and only some antibiotics can cure it. See a std specialist for treatment.

I am insulin dependant diabetic of age 63 yrs. I am feeling some pain on joint of ear and mouth specially on opening the mouth. Before this pain I cleaned my ear by a bud. Can I take cefixime cv antibiotic for this pain.

There are two possibilities. It can either be an infection in your ear canal or a problem with your joint. The treatment for both are different.

Hi, I am 32. A doctor prescribed me bixigard 200dt for pus filled vaginal boils 2 tabs for 5 days which I usually get post shaving pubic hair. But it was not available anywhere. So the chemist gave cefixime 200 dt dispersible tablets saying its contents are same. Is it okay &safe? Please answer. Thank you.

Bixigard is a combination of cefixime and ofloxacin, check content of medicine given to u, it should have both.

My son is 1 month and 16 days old. Last few days ago we saw some little drop of blood in his stool. Then we went to doctor. He advised for his stool test. We did his stool test and found mucus, pus cell is 10-12/hpf and occult blood is negative. After seeing the stool test report Doctor said, there is an infection in his stool. Dr. Prescribed Omnix-50 (antibiotic) and Gut-Ok twice a day for five days. After completion of medicine I did another stool test at another lab and found mucus is still present, pus cell is negative, occult blood is negative. After seeing the second stool test report doctor said now there is no infection. Then we told him he has completed all medicines in time but we saw little drop of blood in his every stool when he passes till day. Then Doctor told us, there is no blood in his stool. Actually doctor says there is no blood but we say there is blood. I want to know Is there any blood in his stool or not? If there is blood then what can we do now and if there is no blood then what is this red little drops which look like as same as blood. please reply……

Get stool test done for presence of occult blood when you notice blood & include blood part of stool. If stool is positive for blood, check color of blood, if it is bright red it is coming from rectum or anus. If it is black blood is from intestines. Treatment is entirely different in two situations. If stool test is normal other thing which cause blood in stool is constipation. I hope child is gaining weight. Get the stool test repeated from some other lab. If report is same then it must be something else not blood.

My 1 and half year old son ate sea fish on Sunday and yesterday afternoon he once vomit and from then he is suffering from fever.
