Red eyes are usually caused by allergy, eye fatigue, over-wearing contact lenses, or common eye infections such as pink eye. However, redness of the eye sometimes can signal a more serious eye condition or disease, such as glaucoma. A more detailed discussion may help to identify the actual cause, so let's discuss it further over a call or a video conferencing.
Thanks.

Eye drops do not usually cause damage over such short period, even steroid eye drops. Continued use over years can lead to cataract. But if there is an underlying infection which did not get treated properly, there is a high probability of loss of vision due to pus collecting in the eye or ulcers developing over the eye.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you a subconjunctival hemorrhage happens when a blood vessel leaks or breaks just under the conjunctiva. When this happens, blood gets trapped in the blood vessel or between the conjunctiva and white part or your eye. Eye bleeding makes the blood vessel very visible or causes a red patch on your eye.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
