Hello Mr. lybrate-user, follow the following routine for better control of your hypertension. 1) lifestyle modifications: yoga/exercise with diet rich in green leafy vegetables and healthy fats. 2) a routine night sleep at least 6-8 hrs
3) pharmacotherapy: currently you are on olmesartan 20 mg. Keep recording your bp once in every 15 days
4) connect with your doctor if you are symptomatic (headache, blurred vision, palpitations).

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. I learn that you have Hypothyroidism and hypertension. But there is absolutely no mention of necessary details like T4, T3 & TSH levels, BP readings, dosage of Levothyroxine being taken and also dosage of other drugs taken. In pregnancy first choice drug for hypertension is Methyledopa, then Labetolo and Nifedipine. Olmesartan is contraindicated.

Hi, you can stop olmesar and monitor bp for 6 weeks. If does not rise then continue without bp medicines. I think you donot need bp medicines if doing regular walking. But please monitor your bp for at least 6 weeks after stopping medicines.
