No you should continue these medications and monitor your blood pressure and cholesterol levels and if you feel that they are on the lower side of a normal range then you can talk to your doctor to decrease the medications to half and then reevaluate after sometime.

Hi Mr. lybrate-user, I can make out you are facing significant problems with BP control after 20 years of good control. That needs to be evaluated. 5 days may be too early.
