Hello. It would be helpful if you could specify since how long you have been taking these medicines and also since how long have you used alcohol. Erection problems could be psychogenic, or it could be the side effect of a medicine or long term use of alcohol. If it is causing hindrance in your sexual life, I suggest you consult a psychiatrist.

Oleanz is an excellent drug for acute/ immediate management of schizophrenia. Whether the treatment is going to be short lived or life long cannot be answered now, it depends on various factors and patient response. Yes the dose can be gradually brought down if the patient improves and maintains well. Total recovery in Schizophrenia rests on nearly 40-50 prognostic factors. There are alternatives to oleanz.

You should never self-medicate on any psychotropic drugs. These signs are exactly why you should not do so. Certain medicines take time to work and also to be removed from use by gradual weaning away from the substance. You, as a lay person, will have no idea as to how these chemicals work in your system to self-regulate them. Please go back to your doctor and let him/her do all the prescription and monitoring to serve your needs for coming off of theâ medication if they are reasonable.
