It can be a simple problem a symptom of complex disease. Let's discuss simple one first. If he wears shoes than ask him to wear shoes only when dry. Avoid wearing shoes or socks when they are still wet. Other thing can be he might be suffering from jaundice due to any cause. U need to see a doctor if he's turning yellow or his stools.

-Take adequate rest, do warm salt water gargles three times a day
- have more of warm fluids, tea, coffee, milk, soup, avoid all cold fluids & foods
- take tablet Cheston-cold, 1 tab three times a day after meals, can stop cetrizine.
