I have got severe diarrhea. I have taken norflox tz only one tablet now the doctor has prescribed ofloxacin course. Can I now start the course of ofloxacin despite having taken only one norflox tz. Can I have ofloxacin after after a few hours of taking norflox tz. Is it ok or there are side effects on the interaction of these 2 medicines taken one after another.

Yes it is ok. You can start with it. But taking only ofloxacin is not enough. Take tinidazole or metronidazole or ornidazole with it.

There is no harm in stopping ornidazole and ofloxacin after 3 days. You have not mentioned why you were taking it and you need to take the alternate medicine.

Ofloxacin and ornidazole or eldoper which one is best to take diarrhoea. I went to doctor she gave me ofloxacin after came home it didn't stop at all. I'm feeling discomfort in my abdomen and watery loose motion. If I ate it will come out within 10 to 20 minutes.

it requires 3-4 days to recover
drink plenty of water
avoid spicy fatty oily food
take more curd butter milk and pomegranate in diet
take small frequent meal
take ors.
