Dear lybrate-user,
I am very sorry to hear that you lost the pregnancy. This fall in beta hcg happens in case of a failing pregnancy. There are many reasons why this can happen. Most commonly this happens in early pregnancy due aneuploidy in the embryo. I do not think it was because of stopping the dexamethasone tablet. If you are having repeated blighted ovum or missed abortions, please discuss with your doctor, so that they can suggest further testing if required.

Persons with typhoid fever usually have a sustained fever as high as 103° to 104° F (39° to 40° C). They may also feel weak, or have stomach pains, headache, or loss of appetite. In some cases, patients have a rash of flat, rose-colored spots. The only way to know for sure if an illness is typhoid fever is to have samples of stool or blood tested for the presence of Salmonella Typhi.

Though it has local action only but chloramphenicol is better you avoid as it came in catrgory c i.e though it has benefits but side effects are more in pregnancy.
I suggest use azee ear drops and candid ear drops. One in morning and one at night.
Please meet your ent doctor and ask for it.
