OCD is a chronic disorder. just like diabetes and hypertension you need to take medicine regularly. however CBT for OCD has shown good results.

Hello Friend, Good that you are seeking a help here. As you may be, medicine just one part of the treatments and obviously will have sides effects due to various factors. So in parallel, you need need Adopt few self behavioral therapies, lifestyle changes, excersise along with counseling support to get a complete cure.

Ocd can be treated effectively with proper medication and psychotherapy. There are different types of medications available to treat ocd and that depends on many factors like - past history, family history, severity of illness, duration of illness, number of episodes, treatment response and side effects of previous treatment. Because only medication is not the 100% treatment for ocd for total removal of ocd is possible when psychological counselling and psychotherapy is done through online process thank you.

If none of the medication has worked, it is time for you to consider intense therapy. Medication alone will not suffice. In the meantime, please do the following sincerely because you could resolve the problem better with good cooperation: have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber, nuts, avocado, exercise regularly, eat dark chocolate, do yoga meditation exercises, spend time in nature or gardening, etc. I suggest...more

1.no alcohol
3. No smoking/ tobacco/drugs/ avoid pollution
4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. Less sugar, potato, rice
5. 30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily
7. Meditation daily for 10 mts. 6-8 hrs of sleep at night
8. Expose your body to sun for 15-20 mts daily after some oil mass...more
