Please inform me about what is the treatment that you have taken, are you continuing the treatment, how much you were drinking before deaddiction treatment, how long back did you take deaddiction treatment, are you having some mental health issues also, etc.
In deaddiction treatment, some time we use harm reduction methods.
Alcohol dependence syndrome is a chronic relapsing disorder needing long term treatment.

You don't seem to have received proper trial of antidepressants. Moreover treatment you received might not be appropriate for your symptoms or their might be some underlying chronic physical illness or psychosocial issues. You better consult other psychiatrist. But be hopeful, if you were to receive ect so that it is the only treatment for you, you must not have written this comment. Take care.
