mucormycosis is red flag sign in whole country. Please don't do any self medication. Always be inn touch with your primary treating physician.

Hi, my brother in law got black fungus after covid 19 .as amphotericin b injection is not available in hospital. Dr. now giving oral posaconazole tablets. Surgery has already done. Is it curable from that tablets and for how long?

black fungus/Mucormycosis is a serious disease. Liposomal Amphotericin B is best medicine but it is very costly & not available everywhere. Posaconazole is also very good drug. Improvement will depend upon disease Severity & stage.

My sister aged 33 year old diagnosed mucromycosis at sinus area .fess has done. Post surgery the fungi tissue sent to biopsy, depends on fungi type the treat would be plan accordingly said by doctor. My only concern it is curable?

Mucormycosis is a serious infection and needs to be treated with prescription antifungal medicine, usually amphotericin b, posaconazole, or isavuconazole.
