The data extrapolated from this trial is revealing promising and positive results. The oral formulation of this insulin, currently named ormd-0801, is in capsule form. Oramed pharmaceuticals is the first pharmaceutical company to attempt oral insulin that has progressed this far in the trial.
But you should not take anything without doctor's advise as it may be harmful.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

Thanks for the query.
Both fasting and Pp blood glucose levels mentioned are very high. It appears that present medication (particularly Insulin) is not adequate. It may have to be increased. Plus a look has to be given to his diet and extent of daily physical activity. You may have to first target his fasting level and bring it down to 110 mg or so by adjusting nigh insulin dosage. Mr. lybrate-user, There is brand by name "Mixtard 30/70 InnoLet 3 ml injection. Usually concerned company persons do visit and explain how to use the Insulin Pens. So while buying it from the local chemist ask him to send the particular company representative to demonstrate the usage. The cartridges are 3 ml while vial is bigger. So please get all the details before switching over. Pens are definitely much easier to use. Thanks.

Is that pain associated with redness, diminution of vision or any other symptoms? if yes then it's of infective origin. Else if none of these present and you are using /not using glasses in either case get your refraction done. May be the number might have changed. If your vision is normal, you have to go for orthoptic checkups which may be the probable cause for asthenopic symptoms. Since you're diabetic you should also get dilated fundus examinations by a vitreoretinal expert.
