I have scalp issue from past 8 years .I visited many hospitals .MD dermatologist took treatment issue was not solved. Some said it is seborric dermatitis .one doctor said dry eczema scalp I used medicines like coal tar, ketoconazole selenium ,anti dandruff shampoos and costeriods some homeopathy doctor said it is psoriasis. One Ayurvedic doctor said it is psoriasis. When I shave head and shampoo it well every thing is gone and scalp will be clear after few weeks returns and scales will increase as my hair will grow every day I will wash my head still doesn't it dead skin scales smelly .I have huge hair fall at one point of time I used to loose more than 300 hairs per day. Now my hair are thinning day by day. I lost hair from little bit sides And over all hair volume decreased right side I lost most of the hairs. I need the best treatment .my age is 29 years male. I am using Cosalic k solution (ketoconazole and coal Tar solution) and Nizoral shampoo (ketoconazole shampoo) for my dandruff. Alternate days use krne ko kha h dono cheez hafte mein. Toh mjhe ye nhi pta ki solution aur shampoo ek. Hi din use krna h ya fir ek din shampoo aur ek. Din solution. Kyuki agr dono ek. Din use krta hu toh uske baad meri scalp bhttttt jada dry ho jati h. Khichaw sa mehsus hota h. please suggest ki dono ko ek din use krna h ya phle ekdin shampoo fir agle din solution. Fir same repeat krna h kya?

I am 83 years old army veteran, about 83 years old sikh. Suffering from scalp dandruff (white scales falling while combing, redness of scalp skin, frequent itching, at times resulting in scalp skin injury/slight bleeding for short time) for the last 30 years 9 months treatment at bakson homeopathic clinic (cost rs. 14,000/-) did not help. Army hospital alopathic treatment withpropysalic (clobetasol propionate) lotion, desonide (dosetil) lotion, urea &lactic acid cream, ketoconazole lotion, scalp shampoo, candid tv shampoo, coal tar shampoo (from usa ), heads & shoulders shampoo (used for 4-5 yrs), pnatene shampoo (used for 4-5 yrs) has not helped. Now trying ketoconazole and zinc pyrithione lotion (kz plus lotion), mometasone furoate & terbinafine hydrochloride topical solution. Dandruff has resulted in thinning of hair. Preset suffering from osteoporosis arthritis and taking me ficinies like ca, coq 10, glucosamine chondroitin, bifos e5 (alendronate sodium) etc. I had undergone cabg surgery about 22 years ago and taking presently monotrate 10 mg bd, aspirin 75 mg of bp medicine diltiazem hydrochloride 90 mg tab od. Request advice to get rid of this problem.

try ciclopirox shampoo sir as ketoconazole becomes resistant after some time. u can use steroid lotions but need to taper it slowly

just changing soap will not help treat your psoriasis. you will need oral medications as well as topical creams to treat psoriasis

Myself 22m. I am suffering from hair fall, dandruff and layers of white powder on scalp. Very itchy on the head. I used to head bath for every 2 days. I am losing my front hair slowly day by day. Using coal tar and salicylic acid scalp solution ,dankare plus scalp solution for the past 3 months suggested by a dermatologist. But not working. I am losing more hair after using this. A layer of white powder like thing on my scalp. I am trying to remove this by regular head bath .but it comes back again just after one day again. When I head bath, lot's of hair falling due to this. When I rub comb on my scalp, dandruff like thing coming up including hair fall. I am suffering from this past 4 years. I even cut my hair short due to hair fall, but not working. Not using any oil on hair from the past 3 years due to this. Please suggest me what to do to get my front hair back and to stop further hair fall.

I'm male 24, suffering from Scalp Psoriasis from childhood, I had taken many medications but that didn't work properly, now I'm using SILKIN (Salicylic acid & Coal Tar) Shampoo prescribed by doctor and it's working fine but not cure my scalp psoriasis completely after few hours of shampooing flakes of dead skin started falling again and due to excess use of shampoo my hair are becoming dull and weak. Please suggest some hair cream or lotion for scalp psoriasis after shampoo. Thanks.
