Yes oflixacin will take care of your infection and rabeprazole will correct acidity arising because of medicine
but for scaphoid infection I would suggest you must see an orthopaedic surgeon for expert opinion.

Looks more like infection with amebiasis rather than cancer. Please show to family physician. He may prescribe antibiotics (preferably ofloxacin with ornidazole twice daily for 3 -5 days) and ask for a stool examination. If this does not settle, he may refer to a gastroenterologist for a colonoscopy to rule out other causes like ulcerative colitis and rarely cancer. Feel free to contact me directly if you want to discuss this further.

Hello lybrate-user. Ultrasound scan is not a very good modality for appendicitis. CT scan is the gold standard. I do not rely completely on scans or lab reports and I believe in my clinical judgement. Symptoms of appendicitis are pain in right lower abdomen which is usually continuous and often severe with vomiting, nausea and fever. Pt also loses appetite due to infection. Since you were taking antibiotics for 5 DAYS the infection could have been subsided. As per your complains it does not look...more
