Hormonal tablets if you start using, not miss a single tablet over 21 day course. Even you miss a single dose in between spotting or brownish discharge will be there. And the pain. Dear lybrate-user, norethisterone is not a contraceptive pill. She can get pregnant on those medications. She should be taking oral contraceptive pills ie. Pregnancy avoiding pills.

Hello these are hormonal pills, they can extend your periods for 5 days .when you stopped it, immediately withdrawal bleeding starts. U should start it according to your desired dates n five days before. Doses twice a day for five days.
