Dear parents, if your child is still having this problem and since more than 7 days despite of giving antibiotics, then you need to do some tests/investigations. You should consult nearby pediatrician and try another antibiotics (change antibiotics, and you need to limit lactose intake (milk and milk products, because after infective diarrhea, lactose intolerance is very common and it will worsen diarrhea.

Continue taking pantop d twice a day. If you are vomitting too much and getting dehydrated get admitted. Dehydrated means - lack of water in body as desired, and if you r passing less urine than before, darker in colour, feeling exhausted and tired, not able to eat and drink properly.

Get a full blood report. It will help you find out the general cause of disease whether it is bacterial infection or not. To control diarrhoea, take Duphalac syrup one spoon 2 times a day. Continue taking antibiotic treatment along with it.
