Very unlikely the cause may be by amlodipine, rather change your daily lifestyle like drinking adequate water daily, no or less junks, more of fibers and less carb diets. That will help you a lot. Also get one physician consultation regarding hypertension any change of dosages/ compositions.

For anybody who has raised bp at a younger age, thorough investigation are to be done to look for cause of bp. Just taking bp pills is not the solution. Discuss about this with your doctor. Also, first make sure that your bp is really raised all time. Many times, bp rises temporarily due to apprehension, fear or anxiety. You can consider 24 hours ambulatory bp monitoring test.

Take dalia in morning, salaad, low fat lassi, whole grain foods. Green veg.
Take 7 to 8 glass of water in a day.
