Very unlikely the cause may be by amlodipine, rather change your daily lifestyle like drinking adequate water daily, no or less junks, more of fibers and less carb diets. That will help you a lot. Also get one physician consultation regarding hypertension any change of dosages/ compositions.

Little bit difference. Side effects like swelling over legs is less with S-Amlodipine, Also efficacy is little superior of S-Amlodipine but if her BP is controlled with Amlodipine you can continue with that.

Hi.
For anybody who has raised bp at a younger age, thorough investigation are to be done to look for cause of bp. Just taking bp pills is not the solution. Discuss about this with your doctor. Also, first make sure that your bp is really raised all time. Many times, bp rises temporarily due to apprehension, fear or anxiety. You can consider 24 hours ambulatory bp monitoring test.
Take care.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
High BP if present needs to be treated with appropriate medications. Excess sweating is unconnected with it. One can use some medications which may be beneficial. But mostly it does not go away. There is hardly any treatment. Thanks.

Raised blood pressure is not a disease in itself. It is just a sign of some underlying disorder. Homeopathy offers good prognosis for cases of essential hypertension. The treatment is based upon the cause and the totality of the case.
