Hello, I am marin and I am 25 years old male. I am 172 cm and 98 kgs. I got throat pain and fever and my gp prescribed me antibiotic called medoclav (amoxicillin + clavulanic acid). My dose was 3 times daily 1 pill, which is 125 mgs. When I started using it I got diarrhea and on the second day I started probiotic line forte (lactobacillus and bifidobacterium). On the 3rd day I felt better, but then I started feeling pain in my whole belly especially when I press it ot move and also I am feeling pain in my waist and little pain in my testicles. Could the reason be my treatment with the antibiotic and the probiotic or its something totally different? What can be this and what should I do? List of my medication: medoclav (amoxicillin + clavulanic acid) - 3 x 125 mg flavamed (ambroxol hydrochloride) - 3 x 15 mg olint (xylometazoline hydrochloride) 3 times daily ansibell (chlorhexidine dihydrochloride / benzocaine / enoxolone) 5 mg / 4 mg / 3 mg compressed lozenges vitamin c 2 x 500 mg line forte (lactobacillus and bifidobacterium)

Your doctor is treating you properly. Just make sure you are well hydrated and all these symptoms will subside as your gut recolonises with the good probiotics to replace the ones destroyed by the antibiotic co-amoxyclav (medoclav).

Hi, My last period started on 25th dec. My doc advised me for hsg test. I did hsg on 3rd january that is on 10th day of my cycle, from the day of hsg, I took azithromycin 500 mg for 4 days. Later in this month I got vaginal yeast infection, so my doc gave me 7 days vaginal suppositories along with other medicines like itchy n lactobacillus capsule.(15-21st jan). After completing 7 day course my doc gave another 3 day (25-26-27 jan) course of vaginal suppositories along with itraconazole n lactobacillus. I am also having inflation in my TMJ so an anti-inflammatory zulup is continue twice a day since a month. I am also taking folic acid 5 mg everyday since long. I was not in contact with my husband this month. My periods have not come till today 28 jan. What could be the reason? Is it because of the medicines or hsg test? Will all these medicines have any side effect if I try for a baby after my periods?

MY PNS X RAY REPORT SAYS NO REMARKABLE ABNORMALITY.

Apart from taking symptomatic treatment I will suggest you to buy a steam inhaler machine of crescent company and Take a flow of steam (of plain water only ) over the forehead through the inhaler and can repeat the process after eight hours as and when required

Is this infant and the rashes are due to using nappies AND USE just cotton cloth tied around and for cough she may need antibiotic like amoxycillin

Sir, (MALE ,38) taking NIXIDOX cap, it is really annoying for me. My doctor prescribe me as antibiotic, in this site it is written for prevention from pregnancy, even the generic salt of NIXIDOX is showing different. In my capsule it is doxycycline+Lactobacillus and here showing something else Ethinyl Estradiol,+Lactobacillus.

The basic issue is allergy and you take Montair Lc and do warm saline gargle . YOu my also take a wikoryl tab and if yellow sputum is there you need amoxycillin

Is it true that an antibiotic (amoxicillin) to which I had sensitivity (allergy) about 30 years back can be used now? I had to take amoxicillin today morning as regimen for helicobacter pylori based dyspepsia, and no problem in six hours, so is it safe to continue the regimen?

there should not be any problem now. what was the severity of reaction 30 years back? Generally, amoxycillin does not have a serious allergic problem. I feel you can continue.

Hi, I broke my nose in a fall. The doctor prescribed 4 different drugs. I can not read the language on the packaging. There was a mix up. He prescribed cefalexin, I thought it was to alleviate stomach pain so I took them for 2 days off and on then stopped. I realised 10 days later my mistake and that they are antibiotics. What should I do?

If you do not have symptoms or open wound. No need of medicine (antibiotics. If there is opem wound. U shd take cefalexin or amoxycillin 500 mg twice post meals for 5 days.
