Hi effective method to treat dandruff would be to combine 2 tablespoons of fresh apple juice with 2 tablespoons of warm water. Dab this on the hair and keep it for 10-15 minutes before rinsing. Do this for once or twice a week to cure dandruff. Apply ketoconazole lotion on your scalp once in a week. Exact cause of seborrheic dermatities is not known but it may be due to stress, genetic, a yeast that normally lives on skin, certain medical conditions and medicines, cold, dry weather. Use oil massage on scalp whenever you wash hairs. Apply ketoconazole 3 time in a weak, not use any other shampoo and only one oil whatever you want like almond oil, coconut oil, olive oil or sesame oil.
