Congratulations for trying to quit drugs repeatedly. Any substance dependence causes relapses often. So, you need to be on continuous follow up with the deaddiction centre for relapse prevention. Mostly these addictions occur along with another psychiatric disorder like mood disorder. It also needs treatment continuously and simultaneously. I have gone through the details given, however, there is no mention of actual glucose levels like - fasting & PP and HbA1c%. If a person has Type! diabetes then only Insulin injection is given. Oral drugs do not work in that condition. Since you are also using Pioglitazone, that means it is Type 2 diabetes. Insulin is given to achieve a quicker control on blood glucose. In many cases once the strict control is gained, Insulin injections can be disconti...more
