atenolol is not the treatment for depression. There are effective treatments like antidepressants and therapy. Please consult a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist. Why did you take so much of atenolol? Is it with suicidal intention? If so, there is urgent need to consult a psychiatrist.
You have the normal side effects of atenolol. Your worry of skin necrosis, may be a part of your untreated depression. It is called as nat - negative automatic thought!

I think, first you check your tsh and ecg, pounding of heat may not be because of amlodac. Rule out other causes first.

Yes it's common to have swelling after taking some of the hypertensive drug, you should visit your doctor he will change the medicine.

Please go back to your doctor for a thorough evaluation and physical examination. Do not start or stop any medicines without the doctor's advice. You can still do the best by exercising everyday ( 30 mins to 1 hour ) which can improve your BP naturally. Focus your attention on eating only healthy food ( include fruits and vegetables everyday ) and avoid outside food and stimulants like tobacco and alcohol. Limit tea and coffee also.
