Yes. Nicotex is one option, but if still he continues smoking other drugs and counselling techniques are there. Just consult a psychiatrist. But the most important point He should have a strong motivation to quit smoking.

First step is you can chew nicotine chewing gums instead of smoking available as nicotex (cipla). Second step is using antidepressants like bupropion or venlafaxine but should be done under a deaddiction program under supervision of a psychiatrist who has experience with these drugs. Regular exercise and meditation with strong will might be enough also.

Dear lybrate-user, Kindly don't start nicotex gums if you don't smoke or chew gutka / tobacco products as you might get hooked on to these gums also. Why are you looking for activating action?

Various causes for shortness of breath like smoking, lack of exercise, cholesterol, sedentary lifestyle. Can't say nicotex is responsible for it. Need to consider other factors too. You can consult me through Lybrate for homoeopathic treatment and further guidance

Hello, you can get it done by homeopathic treatment, only and only on one condition that is, your wish needs to be strong to leave it. Then it will definitely help you.
Take care :)

Dear lybrateuser,
-She should try to leave it as it can have harmful effects on the body
- she can use nicotex gum or lozenges as per instructions given on it
- also if she finds it difficult to quit then she can consult a doctor or an NGO or an organisation who can help her quit the habit.
