There are nor randomised drug trials between allopathic medications and alternative medicines. So it is your own risk to take them. All the best

Nexito forte is fine, but instead of librax (has benzodiazepine), there are better medication to combine with it for total resolution of symptoms. Consult an astute psychiatrist, either online or in person. Good luck.

Hello lybrate-user.
Medicines should not be cut off at a sudden phase. Have a counselings session and tapping down dosage will be advised. With that natural ways to manage the illness will be taught and trained.

Good evening
cipralex is escitalopram which is a medicine used to treat anxiety and depression. Usually it doesn't have much side effects and it can be prescribed for chronic periods. It's better to get a medical assessment from a qualified medical doctor or a psychiatrist to review the indication and to examine the patient before stopping this medicine

Autism, cerebral palsy, adhd come under one spectrum. They are behavioral disorders. They are not organic disorders (meaning. They cannot be picked up on sonography or any other radiological investigation whatsoever). Behavioral disorders are detected a few months after birth depending upon the developmental milestones. Cipralex comes in category c of fda drugs. Meaning there are not enough studies to come to conclusion. But it is one of the safer drugs in pregnancy.

Only the SSRI group of antidepressants cause sexual problems in few patients. These side effects are temporary. Escitalopram is an SSRI.
There are plenty of effective antidepressant that has no sexual side effect. Please discuss with your psychiatrist.
