Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It causes whiteheads, blackheads or pimples. These factors can trigger or aggravate acne: hormones, certain medications, diet, stress.
To prevent pimples, eat fresh fruits, green vegetables, drinking plenty of water should be an essential part of your routine and intake of oily fried foods, an excess of sugar-salt should be avoided.

No one factor causes acne. Acne occurs when sebaceous (oil) glands attached to the hair follicles are stimulated at the time of puberty or due to other hormonal changes. Sebum (oil) is a natural substance that lubricates and protects the skin. Associated with increased oil production is a change in the manner in which the skin cells mature, predisposing them to plug the follicular pore. The plug can appear as a whitehead if it is covered by a thin layer of skin, or if exposed to the air, the dar...more

Hello, Thanks for the query.
TSH 7.99 mU/L is higher than normal, but considered as subclinical hypothyroidism, no treatment is advocated at this level. Only if there are severe troublesome symptoms present then treatment may be initiated. Otherwise no need. Precautions are to avoid soy beans and soy containing products. Plus use iodinated salt. Check TSH after 6 moths. Thanks.

Beard is purely genetic make up. It could be a pituitary issue, hair follicle or their lack of, or could possible even be genetics. To make hair grow you need to stimulate, moisturize, and cleanse. Use a soft bristle scrub brush for the face and use circular motions using a eucalyptus, menthol, and/or peppermint type cleanser or lotion. The invigoration of the brush and cleanser/moisturizer will wake up that hair follicles and gives them a signal to produce.

It is also essential for men to have normal levels of the FSH hormone. An imbalance of this hormone in men can contribute to infertility. For men, FSH controls sperm production which is of course essential to fertility.
Typically, a man’s follicle-stimulating hormone levels should be between 5 and 15 IU/L. High levels of FSH in a male could indicate that the testicles are not functioning properly, or may have been damaged by some condition. They can also indicate the presence of Klinefelter ...more

Dear lybrate user,
pimples/ acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which develops due to blocking of the hair follicles in skin. These blockages occur due to 4 abnormal processes: 1) excess sebum production due to androgens
2) excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation 3) infection of propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes) bacteria on the hair follicles
4) local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin.
In order to stop the format...more
