Dear lybrate user, about your habit of checking wallet often, it appears like ocd - means obsessive compulsive disorder. A person with ocd keeps repeating his actions very often, unnecessarily. And many times it is beyond the person's control.
About your anxiety to talk to new people or about costly gifts, more exploration anout your thoughts and feelings is required.
For your both problems, you need to have some behavioral therapy. Hence, please seek help from a counsellor.
