Hello good morning Sir/Mam! I am suffering from Schizophrenia and currently on Clozapine. And now the problem is that I can't do any work properly or normally or can say with my ease as that I used to do before taking Clozapine. And it's been two days since I am taking clozapine and still some symptoms present. Hoping to get these symptoms be cured in next few days. But can't do my work properly as that I did without med. So, I want to know that is this the side effect of the drug, if it is then how get rid of, and how can I live and do my work properly along with medication. I can't feel anything natural viz nature (i can not enjoy natural beauties, weather, or whatever related to it), sex, any person, any moment, etc. I finally wanna know that is all these the effects of medication and if so then how to get rid of these or should I stop. I will be thankful for reply.

You will have side-effects and when they occur, you must report them to your doctor to see if they are excessive and need to be addressed with other medication is the the dose needs adjustments. The optimum dose for each individual varies and to discover that it may take a few weeks too, initially. After a few adjustments, your true dose will become finalized and you can expect a reduction in side-effects. Ideally, you must combine your medication with counselling.

Although I am not entirely sure about the benefits of the molecules that you mention, since it is an amino acid there should be no side effects of glycine. If the patient is having auditory hallucination despite being on medication alkepin 200 mg daily, it might be helpful to make dose adjustments or to add augmentative or adjuvant therapeutic measures that target the core symptoms in addition to trying out glycine.

Dear Shahdab,
Nice to know that your brother recovered 80%.
He has to continue Alkepin for life. He has to periodically go for check ups with the psychiatrist for side effect like weight gain, blood counts, diabetes, lipids, etc.
Apart from the tablets, he has to slowly start building skills of socialisation, interpersonal communication, work habits, personal grooming, etc. If he is already working, try and talk to his supervisor about his disorder so that they get counselled about h...more

If you are stable on medications, then you shouldn't worry about it. It's a good prescription and if you are responding well, keep it going.

Both of these medications are antipsychotics but also cause good sleep. Both effects are there with these medications. However sizopin 25mg is very low dose and good for sleep only, at this dose doesn't help in controlling psychotic symptoms much.

Yes, these medications that you mention are compatible with each other. However you have only mentioned your psychopharmaceutical medications and left out the medications for your other conditions like asthma, diabetes, copd, etc, so you may have to re frame your question or you can consult us online for further clarifications.
