Yes, there are some side effects of anti-Thyroid meds. Merely having T3, T4, TSH normal is not enough. I would recommend a more comprehensive and Integrative management.
It is not necessary to take Neo Mercazoke, Betanol lifelong. But your Thyroid status will have to be monitored long term.

Tablet Neomercazole is antithyroid medication. It has to be taken for 12 to 18 months and during this period TSH levels should be checked every 3 months to know if desired improvement has occurred or not. Aap ka TSH level 2 mU/L to 3 mU/L itana ana chahiye. Plus all the symptoms, jo takalif hoti hai vo bhi kam honi chaiye. Thanks.

I think you had hyperthyroid initially for which carbimazole was given but recent TSH 57.64 is suggestive of hypothyroid hence you need to stop carbimazole and start thyroid hormone supplement. Discuss with your Physician.

from the fact that you quickly became hypothyroid after carbimazole it looks like the underlying problem may be an autoimmune thyroiditis or subacute thyroiditis .please check tpo antibodies and inform results
