I have vaginal infection in which I have red small rashes then it turns into blisters which causes irritation and difficult in sitting and moving, sometimes its very painful and causes bleeding in it. I am using ofloxacin ornidazole and it mac 200 after consultation, but I want to confirm will this will end the infection or not or it may arise together if I will discontinue the use.

Doctor, I had a laser ablation surgery for pilonidal sinus last month and again a curettage and ablation surgery last week. And now I had got some infection on the wound for the last three days. Daily cleaning and dressings are generally required with antibiotic cover depending on the wound swab culture. If your test showed bacterial sensitive to oflox and ornidazole it is good medication. However I would insist you show it to a plastic surgeon and get few dressings done which may speed up healing.

Constant farting and toilet use, joint pain and sharp body pain, tiredness and mood swings all after one month of ofloxacin use due to burning pain in the urethra. I do not feel like my normal self. Please help.

Looks like ofloxacib toxicity stop the antibiotic and do urine culture sensitivity. Then start the appropriate antibiotics. Also do usg abeomen to see for stones and residual urine.

Do not use ear drop some time cold effects your ear pressure deveop behind ear which may cause noise take steam inhalation nd nasal drop.

Please I need help urgently, I think i'm going to die. I was diagnosed with gonorrhoea and I started the treatment. An antibiotic injection and flagyl and doxycycline tablets then symptoms persisted and I was told to get flagyl and ofloxacin and after that again symptoms still persisted. All it did was suppress the symptoms and that's all.

Dear Lybrate user. Gonorrhea does not kill anyone instantaneously. May be you should consult some other std specialist and proper treatment. Oflox and flagyl. I think you need to consult a specialist.

Hello-
since you have not mentioned the site of pain so we suppose its testicles or penis that is having pain. Masturbation do leads to sexual exhaustion of reproductive organs which may cause pain. Since masturbation is assumed healthy in moden science they do not provide a treatment for that instead they treat the patient for false diagnosis like infection. Better to stop the antibiotics and switch to ayurveda.

My granddaughter, aged 15 1/2, been suffering from low grade fever for almost 2 weeks with vomiting episodes for the same period. The vomit is usually light yellow though initially had flakes of blood. Vomit happens usually after a heavy meal. Vomiting is quite frequent ranging from 5 to 10 times daily. Endoscopy, ultra sound, blood, urine and tests for malaria and dengue have not shown any abnormality. Generally a healthy individual. Has consulted three different doctors physician, gastroenterologist and Pediatrician who have not been able to find the cause of fever and vomiting. Has been taking medication as per advice to include Pantocid or Pantop, Emset, Lesurpride, Oflotas, Zocef 500 mg, DOMDT 10 mg, calpol 650 mg Received injections ondem IV. Fever now ranges between 101 to 103 mainly at night and vomiting persists. The pediatrician has opined that the parents of the child are passing through divorce proceedings and her relations with her father are very tense. Other symptoms are normal and clear. Including throat and lungs. Could be case of Bulimia. Advised counselling and CBT.

Since she is sick for 2 weeks and running fever ranging between 101 to 103 mainly at night, it may not be a case of Bulimia in spite of strained relation with father. even then counselling may be useful. You can stop all medicine and maintain Temp chart 4 times in a day for 4-5 days. Paracetamol 500 mg may be given if temp is more than 101 degree F and can be repeated after 6 hours if needed. Watch her general behaviour.
