Hello,
it is difficult to say the exact cause of pain without more details from you. Post fever chest pain can be due to pleuritis or pericarditis that is inflammation of outer covering of your chest organs. It can also be due to gastric reflux and hyperacidity owing to the antacids being taken during illness. If you had cough then this pain could be muscular secondary to frequent coughing. I hope I am clear.

My father complained for negative thoughts and uneasiness in the beginning of Feb fir which we visited a psychiatrist he prescribed Nexito plus on the same day he was diagnosed with hp and admitted in the icu. On discharge it was diagnosed anxiety disorder with hypertension and started inderal 40 Nexito trika But in next days his condition got worse and was in panic attack. Took him to another doc. He said as the Nexito dose was suddenly decreased it could have caused such panic attack. This was on 16th feb. Till 27th feb he wss Nexito fort oleanz. During this period he had no sleep and frequent panic attacks. Then on 5th march he was taken to another psychiatrist he stopped all medicines and started trinicalm rivotril and phengranne and told to fear test. Next week the reports suggested 24 score and depression. And currently he is on above medicines plus serenace 1.5 mg and trika The symptoms are different every week since feb. Now he does not talk much does not respond unable to do basic activities. One day he will be better and another day he will not. Sleep is less. Certain things trigger him. Previously panic attacks he used to get where he was hallucinating about negative things but now he keeps quiet but does not sleep.
