Yes please try Homoeopathy as it will help you get rid of the bouts that keep happening. It will also build a good immunity for your son. Please keep him away from antibiotics as much as possible.

Steam Inhalation is one of the ways to treat cough. Also, give him honey or glycerin to relieve his throat pain and irritability.
Sleep in a bit elevated position to avoid irritation in throat at night
Avoid nebuliser as much as possible because it is difficult to get rid of once started.
Take Coccus Cacti 30C one dose now and then take Cosmos 30C 3 doses daily for 1 week.
You will definitely start feeling changes.
Still if you have any queries. Please let me know.

Dear Lybrate User, Your problem has two solutions
First ask your pediatrician about Yearly Quadrivalent Flu Vaccine, to prevent seasonal infections.
Second if the condition is almost same the whole year round, a Regular Inhaler (instead of SOS Nebuliser Therapy) would be more advisable, to keep child healthy and in sync with with his growth & development issues.
Wishing Your son Good Health.

As you are suffering from asthma, get yourself investigated, specially a PFT test PFTshould be done to know the severity of asthma. As asthma is inflamatory disorder of airways, you need to take combination of formetrol and budesonide by inhalation.you may have to take medicine for a long time.Kindly discontinue allegra if not having running nose, sneezing or nasal block.

What is your age, smoking status, complaints. Is it asthma or COPD. Both are different problems with different solutions. Moreover there is no specific food restriction for asthma/ allergy. Every individual will have different allergies. So take fresh milk/ yogurt.
If you are properly diagnosed with asthma/ COPD take proper inhalers( Controllers LIke formeterol/budesonide or solmeterol/fluticosone) and keep some relievers like salbutomol with or without ipratropium for emergency purpose.
