I have new born baby on 2nd oct (54 days today) normal delivery and bw-3.6 kg. Now he is having severe cough. Taken to nearby doctor and he prescribed to take xray, cbc, c reactive protien tests and all results looks good except low level in haemoglobin. currently giving him azithral and flucol drops along with vitamin drops. But still he is continuing dry cough and running nose for two days. We are so worried about the condition even we maintain hygiene, wearing mask and sanitizer during holding him. But his illness never goes down. Kindly suggest.

I am 29 years old. When winter starts I use to have asthmatic problem in which I use to face allot of coughing problem, difficulty in breathing. doctors often gives me montelukast tablets for that. Now I have same problem I have lot of coughing at night and breathing and feels allergy in my breathing canal.

Hello. Budez Cr. Contains Budesonide, a steriod which causes mood changes. It may take some time for you to get adjusted. Kindly continue for 2 weeks & of same problem repeats consult your dr.

. No details of treatment received. Allergy, nasal discharge, nasl defect and childhood asthma are likely causes. Direct examination by ent specialist is necessary. Subsequently intermittent medication by child specialists and other precautiions for cold, cough allergy are necessary. There are very effective medications and inhalers, nebulisers etc.

Sir, you need breathing exercises, avoid cold breeze, deodorants, mosquito repellant, agarbatti, use budesonide aqua nasal spray, one puff to each nostril, twice daily for 1 month. If persistent consult doctor.

Levolin work only in case of acute bronchospasm. Better you should go for inhaler of formeterol fumarate plus budesonide (of paediatric dose) like symbicort 1 puff in each nose daily. You can give syp Montair LC 5 ml once daily before food for 10 days. Avoid all kinds of allergies.

Yes. But need to find the cause of sob. If its pulmonary then only it will help l.rule out other causes. If its pulmonary. Then at this age it is usually asthma.in this case you need to nebulise with budesonide also. For more. Consult online.

Hello, as per latest guidelines the dose for budesonide recommended for covid 19 is 800 mcg twice a day. If you have 100 mcg capsule, then its difficult to take 8 capsules at a time. Kindly arrange by requesting your pharmacist or re-visit your treating physician for alrternatives. Take care.
