It' s good that you don't have diabetes or thyroid problem. Now, low libido can be caused by other diseases too. We have to find out the disease, if any and then you need a simple counseling. Drugs are needed in few cases only.

Lose weight. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take caldikind plus 1 tab daily for 10 days paracetamol 250mg tds x 3 days contact me after that. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. It may have to be further investigated.

Most probably the medicines have stabilised your BP. You should now review with your treating doctor to reduce and titrate your medication, because BP medications need time to time changes, hence a regular follow up is essential.

Diabetes or hypertension is not a contagious disease, but genes have some role to play.So you as well as your kids have to take extra effort to be fit.
Eat small meal at regular intervals
Exercise daily
Avoid high carbs, sugar, sweets, jaggery , cold drinks etc
Do regular blood sugar and blood pressure check up
Keep in touch with your doctor.

It must not have been missing beats but extra beats (atrial or ventricular) for which Dr. has prescribed you nebicard. Heart rate of 55/minuets is not harmful if you don’t have conduction disorder. If your bp is normal with out medication and you don’t have any symptoms with that extra beat, you can leave nebicard.
In case you have symptoms with extra beat you can continue with the drug, with information that these drugs at this 70+ age can at times lead to very low heart rates.
