While passing urine I feel hard to pass urine through penis & urine pressure is also low & quantity is less, but when I take naftopidil 50 mg (nafodil) I feel somewhat comfortable while passing urine also flow pressure & quantity of urine increases & my stomach bulging is redused (i dont have stone problem)please suggest.

On the basis of your history you are suffering from benign prostatic hypertrophy. You have to take medicine regularly. If symptoms are not relieved then you go for surgical procedure.

I have a 3.5 mm right side mid calyx kidney stone and I am suffering from right side pain. The urologist yesterday prescribed me stone 1b6 syrup, nafodil 50 tablet (naftopidil 50) and deflazacort 6 mg tablet. I just found out that deflazacort 6 mg is a steroid and it affects the immunity. I am worried my immunity might get decreased and I have not taken covid vaccine till now. Also I read steroids should not be taken by a person who is planning to take a vaccine. So kindly please advise what to do? Shall I take deflazacort 6 mg or not?

I will personally suggest not to take deflazacort beacuse you seem to much worried about low dose weak steroid but for that I need to see your detail sonography report
why you are prescribed steroid at all please contact for further query.

I am 64 year old male and have been suffering from enlargement of prostate gland and undergoing treatment with Alfusin D tab one tab after food in night for last 6 years. There is no problem but my urine flow has decreased as with average flow rate of 9.5 ml /sec and max. Flow rate of 12.8 ml Now I have been advised to take Naftopidil 50 mg tab once after food in the morning. At this age I do not have urge for sex and on top of that if I take Naftopidil its side effect is Ejaculatory dysfunction. Along with dizziness. Although I have not started taking yet Naftopidil .Whether the combination of two drugs can be helpful in smooth flow of urine and of course my sexual life too. Kindly advise me your opinion whether combination mentioned above will be of any help to me. My blood test report for PSA is 0.51 ngm/ml and prostate measures for 24 gm capsule intact.

Adding naftopidil will not give you much relief whatever you can get with these medicines you got with alfusin d. Still you want to add and see the response you can try. But what we suggest is that if medicine does not help go for surgery.
