If the cut is not very severe, you do not need to apply any antibiotics. Cuts on the lips are usually healed on their own, just apple cold/ice compression to reduce the swelling. If there is too much pain, get an orabase gel or any gel which contains 10%-20% benzocaine and apply it twice or thrice a day. Benzocaine will numb the pain temporarily till its healed.
If the cut is very deep and severe, I suggest you show it to a surgeon to confirm whether stitches are needed or not.

Suggestion:
A spray of local anesthetic containing benzocaine may help relieve pain. If your skin reacts to the spray, stop using it. Hydrocortisone 1% cream or calamine lotion applied to the skin may also help relieve itching and redness.

Put a cold, damp towel on your skin. Do this for 10 or 15 minutes a few times every day. That will help take some of the heat out of your skin. You also can take frequent cool baths or showers to help relieve the pain. As soon as you get out of the bathtub or shower, gently pat yourself dry, but leave a little water on your skin. Then, apply a moisturizer to help trap the water in your skin. This will help ease the dryness.
