Asked for male, 31 years old from Hyderabad

A day before yesterday, I had a major infection in my right eye and consulted an eye doctor. He prescribed some medication saying I had some kind of viral infection. Today most of the pain and redness of the eye is gone. But, I still have that 50% blurriness in my right eye. I can't see objects properly with my right eye. It's been 50 hours since I used the first medication. Am I going to lose the sight permanently? Blurriness is not increasing, but I'm still scared. I would be grateful if you could give me a proper suggestion. This is the medication Tablets: Aceclofenac & Paracetamol Tablets (Acetop-P) Ciprofloxacin Tablets (Floxip-500) Rabeprazole Tablets 20 mg (Razol-20) Eye drops: Moxifloxacin Eye drops Ip 0.5% w/v (Moxigram) Carboxymethyl-Cellulose Eye Drops IP (Compu Drops o.5%) Prednisolone Acetate Opthalmic Suspension USP (allergen) Sterile 10 ml.

Hi, If it's viral infection than it'll take 2-3 wks to completly resolve. Better to add Refresh liqigel eye drop.

I have got a bacterial infection in eye. Doc prescribed moxifloxacin eye drop I used it 3 times daily for three week and stopped within two days it re appeared. So now I'm using moxifloxacin eye ailment for how long can I continue this.

infection usually subsides in 3 weeks... if not subsided then perhaps infection has recurred or not gone,, you need to again visit eye surgeon

You have glaucoma ,a condition of increased pressure within the eyeball, causing gradual loss of sight. And need medications and regular check up by ophthalmologist Any specific nutritional deficiencies in your diet can be addressed with supplements that include Vitamins A, B-complex, C, and E as well as the minerals Magnesium, Calcium and Zinc. However, there is no convincing data that vitamin supplements help to prevent glaucoma.

I am using betoact 1.5 % W/V eye drop after consulting with an eye specialist. Is there any steroid composition. After using this drop I am filling sleepy. One doctor told me that it is one type of steroid. Please ans my question and help me.

by the name it's suggestive of steroid but in very low concentration hence quite safe it doesn't make u sleepy

Yes kitmox eye drops can be used, one drop four times daily. However, if you do not see any improvement in one or two days, better to go for a proper consultation with an ophthalmologist.

I wear spectacles with +2.5 and -1.5 power lenses. I also uses veldrop gel (sodium carboxymethyl cellulose 1%w/v) but I feel burning like in my eyes. I uses drop in about every four hours but when I don't use medicine I feel burning in my eyes. Please tell me cure so that I never feel burning in my eyes.

you can 1. Blink a lot
2. Wash eyes with fresh water
3. Cold compresses
4. Use lubricating eye drop like veldrop gel frequently

And her pain increases intensity increases.
