My ophthalmologist prescribed me to use mahaflox d (moxifloxacin & dexamethasone) eye drops for few days. I have used it today. My eyes hurt for few minutes after using these eye drops. Is it normal? What about its colour?

Good morning, I am from hyderabad. My wife pregnancy 6 month complete but last one week started eye irritation and water coming in two eyes. I am already use the drug refresh tear drop and ciprofloxacin drop but no effective. My friend is suggested to me us the moxifloxacin drus. Is safe.

3. T. Levocetrizine- 1 at bed time
visit an ophthalmologist if the symptoms continue even after 1 week of this treatment.

I am getting treatment from last 7 days about my eye infection. Doctor recommended me to use mosi dx eye drop. It's effect is very slow. Suddenly they recommended me to use vigamox and combiflam tablets. What could be the reason? Changing eye drop really work for me?

My mother is suffering with viral or bacterial infection in her eye as diagnosed by an eye doctor. She was prescribed moxifloxacin eye drop 1 hour once. She is using the drops from past 2 days, even though her pain and swelling near the eye have not reduced and she has continuous watery discharge from her eye. And her pain increases intensity increases.

Thank you for your guidance sir. I had taken her to ent specialist yesterday, she recommended amoxicillin syrup, montral syrup and moxifloxacin ear drop. I had started medicine from yesterday except eardop bcoz it was not in medical shops. But I noticed from yesterday evening discharge is not coming out from ear. Little bit inside that I cleaning every time. please guide should I put drop now also or I can skip it.

maxicip eye drops also contain same salt.
So both are same.

Yes kitmox eye drops can be used, one drop four times daily. However, if you do not see any improvement in one or two days, better to go for a proper consultation with an ophthalmologist.

My 6 weeks new born baby girl is having watery and sticky eyes and the problem is reoccurring approx every 15 days. We gave her moxicip eye drops for the first two times and it went away. Third time when it reoccurred, doctor asked us to change to Tobacin. Kindly advise if this is something to worry?

Learn from your eye doctor the massage of the eye drainage apparatus besides using drops. The passage to drain tears is yet not open but is likely to open up in few weeks to months. Once it opens up, the problem will stop.
