infection usually subsides in 3 weeks... if not subsided then perhaps infection has recurred or not gone,, you need to again visit eye surgeon

Conjunctivitis is also called pink or Madras eye, it spreads from contact ,you should have different handkerchief for both eyes, you may use vigamox eye drops 1hrly then reducing it to 2hrly + zymaxid eye drops 4 times, it think it will be cured in few days,

My daughter is 15 month old.I think she is havin conjective virus.Her eyes are little bit red n water flowing continuously n little white is getting dischared from eyes.So can i give kitmox eye drop.Composition is Moxifloxacin hydrochloride i.P equivalent to moxifloxacin aqueoous buffered vehicle.

Yes kitmox eye drops can be used, one drop four times daily. However, if you do not see any improvement in one or two days, better to go for a proper consultation with an ophthalmologist.

My 6 weeks new born baby girl is having watery and sticky eyes and the problem is reoccurring approx every 15 days. We gave her moxicip eye drops for the first two times and it went away. Third time when it reoccurred, doctor asked us to change to Tobacin. Kindly advise if this is something to worry?

Learn from your eye doctor the massage of the eye drainage apparatus besides using drops. The passage to drain tears is yet not open but is likely to open up in few weeks to months. Once it opens up, the problem will stop.

My dad is a diabetic patient and doctor has suggested him cepodem, allegra 180 mucolite sr and moxicip for his bronchitis treatment but he is having a fever and body so can I give him brufen 600 or dolo 650 and he jas done rtpcr test it was negative.

How common are corneal perforations? Actually, I suffer from health anxiety. Lately my eye has been hurting because a mosquito flew into it and I had pain in the eye which kept coming and going. I took moxicip kt eye drops as it was recommended to help. But the second time I used it, I had slight redness which went away as well. However, there is still pain. Now I am still anxious and worried over potential infections, ulcers or even corneal perforation. Please let me know if there's chances of these happening to me. Thank you.

Corneal perforations occur only after injury to eye mostly by a sharp object or any other ocular trauma. Insect injury mostly doesn't cause corneal perforations, it can cause corneal epithelial defect or allergic reactions in your eye. Visit an eye doctor in case of any doubt.
