Sgot :78 sgpt: 51 urine pus cell 1-2/hf mch mchc mcv level decrease doctor prescribe- cefpodoxime proxetil & potassium clavulanic acid. Is that right treatment or not? Please give me a answer.

Hi .i am from pakistan my mom age is 55 year. She used augmentin (amoxicillin / clavulanic acid) (24) tablets. During usage of augmentin she feel pain in her knee. And after that her knee pain is continue till today date.

Hello, I am 29 years old and doing breastfeeding for my 1 year kid. I have cold and cough from last week .i have consulted a doctor and have taken MOXCLAV 625 MG TAB, GLEMONT-F TAB, AND DOLO -650 mg from past four days. Now I am not having fever but feeling very tired. And my cough has not reduced.In morning, I am having bad cough with bit sputum, bit running nose too which makes me difficult to do any activity. I had taken piriton syrup also from past one week but even that is not effective. Can you suggest me any home made thing which can help me in all this. Thanks.

My mother have left lung cystic fibrosis since 30 years & 4 months back she was treated with bronchial artery embolization for bloody sputum. Now she has mild throat pain since 20 days only in drinking water and swallowing saliva, but not in eating anything. She was diagnosed with granular pharyngitis, doctor gives different antibiotics moxclav / ceftum. But there is no change in her mild throat pain since 20 days. Ent Dr. Told there is no sign of cancer, but there are granules all over in neck. I want to know since already 20 days had passed, so how long will it take to recover from this throat pain.

Granules all over neck or throat? If throat, betadine mouth gargle might help her. She might also need a good course of antibiotics. But if granules on neck, please plan either fnac or biopsy.

My son (1-years 8-month old & weighing 12.5 kg) has recently developed fever (100-101 F) with mild cold & cough. We have seen a pediatric doctor, who (in addition to calpol syrup) has prescribed a bunch of medicines as follows - 1) Syrup Moxclav (228.5 mg / 5 ml) 3 ml BD for 5-days 2) Syrup Zincovit 1 TSP OD for 2-weeks 3) Syrup Ascoril D 1 TSP TDS for a week 4) Econorm sachet OD for a week. However, my son seems to become quite restless (specially at night) after starting these new medicines. He suddenly wakes up at 2 AM & then plays for next couple of hours & finally sleeps again at 4 AM, which we had never faced before. By googling, I found syrup Ascoril D' should not be given to kids younger than 4-years & it also has side effects like agitation etc. Can you kindly review rest of the medicines & advise whether any of them should be stopped immediately ?

When the child is sick he he is not playing
and we try to confine him in bed and he
completed his quota of sleep and gets up they don't know about the time.but parents get disturbed.

My wife is suffered by pulmonary consolidation for the past three months. Soft tissue size is about 5 cm X 6 cm, physician is recommend to take Cefuroxime 250 Clavulanic acid 125 mg, Paracetamol 500, levocetirizine10 mg and ranitidine. Every time he complaints of runny nose sometimes block nose, chest infection, throat pain, enlarged tonsils, tongue papilla enlarged, with high fever. Dear doctor, i’m in africa and since last saturday i’m feeling slight fever cold and cough. I checked my fasting sugar reading 11.9 mmodl. The doc prescribed metform for sugar and flucomol contains paracetamol and clorofernamin. In between had 3 dose amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. A day after I lost my sense of smell. Now i’m with body temperature of 98.3 and warm air comes from mouth and nose and slight burning of eyes.

Continue flucomol. Warm saline mouthwash & gargle.
Pl mention your blood glucose f & pp, serum urea, creatinine. Get blood for cbc, hb%, crp done and rt pcr for sars cov 2.
Monitor temperature, respiration rate & pulse rate, spo2 thrice daily.

Respected sir from last two months I have a problem with my left side upper jaw teeth. But suddenly from last month I am suffering with a pain refer from head to teeth. And from last three days I seen that a inflammation occurred in my mouth. And pain remain same.in left side. I am too much worried about that. I had already tried cephodoxime with clavulanic acid antibiotics. But no result is there. I am afraid that is it any cancer formation in my mouth? Because I am a regular smoker.
