First it has to be evaluated what the cause of your hair fall is. The treatment you r using esp finasteride is for androgenic alopecia (male pattern hair fall). If you hv that, then treatment will hv to be continued. The frequency of medicine use can be reduced. Remember androgenic alopecia is a natural process happening n meds are stopping something natural from happening.

Hello Lybrate-user, Since your scalp is clean most likely cause for your itching is minoxidil induced. Stop using mintop for few weeks. Use shampoo mildy ahf daily and if itching still continues visit a dermatologist. Hair fall treatment is possible only after itching subsides.
