Hello,
Montek fx contains montelukast and fexofenadine. Fexofenadine is pregnancy category c drug.
Better option will be montek lc which contains cetrizine along with montelukast.
Cetrizine is pregnancy category b drug and much safer.

Hi. I was hospitalized last month for dengue and acute bronchitis now I am suffering from sore throat or you can say irritation in throat and runny nose leading to often sneezing. I get this every month and now I really feel helpless as doctor said it's also because of low immunity. The last time when my throat was infected I visited ent doctor and he gave me few medicines [medicine name Saral-d with content Diclofenac potassium & serratiopeptidase tablets, medicine Cloff 250 with content Clarithromycin tablets IP, medicine Lukotas HD with content levocetirizine Montelukast & (SR) ambroxol hydrochloride tablets and lastly medicine Acebrobic with content acebrophylline capsules 100 my)] and also explained me some do's and don'ts. It was cured completely by these medicines I found these very helpful but again I'm getting throat pain and runny nose. Please suggest me some medicines which I can take whenever I get these symptoms as I hate going to the doctor again and again. What do I do I'm really fed up of taking medicines almost every month also I sometimes try home remedies which hardly helps for me?

Avoid triggering factors. Take plenty of fruits vegetables dry fruits.
Do yoga meditation breathing exercises.
Go for walks

My father facing a breathing problem for past 3 years. He used to smoke from his child hood, hope for 20 years he is smoking. Now he stopped it. Since a chain smoker can't leave it he is taking half citrate per day. I need to know is there any diet regarding respiratory problem He is taking daily montelukast sodium and levocetirizine hydrochloride tablet. Company Montek Lc. Kindly suggest what could be done.

Please try to avoid exposure to smoke, dusts and air pollution as much as possible. A nutritive diet rich in vitamins & minerals including anti-oxidants is very important to support immune system. I would also suggest you regular breathing exercises which help you in a long run.

I had severe asthma from the age of 2 to 13. Now it has turned into just allergy but no more asthmatic attacks. I was prescribed to take singular 10 mg for 6 months at the age of 15. Now I am 22, I still face excessive allergy problems, can I continue taking singular 10 mg (composition only montelukast) for months or should I take montek (composition levocet+montelukast)?

Montelukast ab/telekast l have no role in COPD. Take LABA and LAMA combination by inhalation with spacer.

I got my last period on 1st september 2021 and I tested +ve for pregnancy this month on october 8th doctor, I have been taking montek lc for runny rose, allergic rhinitis and wheezing for past 9 months doctor recommended to discontinue taking montek lc tablets but for the last 03 days I have runny nose, itchy throat, wheezing frequent sneezing and cough what do you recommend is it safe to take montek lc during early stage of pregnancy? Please advise.
