I am pregnant women of 2 months gestational age. Since I came to know about my pregnancy I got pregnancy rhinitis which is so severe. I took steam inhalation and applied saline nasal spray oftenly .i am having good effectiveness in montair lc but ineffective in levocetirizine. But till now I didn't took any medicine. Can I take montair lc continuously till my pregnancy.

Cetrizine is fine and so is monteleukast but if possible you should try additional measures to control your symptoms. Per se they are not contraindicated in pregnancy.

Doctor I am 20 years old suffering from allergy rhinitis, symptoms including severe running nose, persistent sneezing, watery eyes etc, I consulted doctor he made absolute eosinophil count test, and the count was more than normal range, He prescribed antihistamines (levocetirizine and montelukast tablets), Probiotics, steroids,for 15 days, Even After using medicines, The symptoms Have been not reduced, The same worst condition, I tried to manage the symptoms in a lot of ways, But none of them worked, Then I started using levocetirizine and montelukast again even after (15 days) the duration for which the doctor prescribed with out consulting doctor ,This antihistamine works for 24 hrs, With out this medicine I can't socialize, This medicine given me allot of relief, and I can't see any allergy rhinitis symptoms when I use this medicine, Is it safe to use levocetirizine and montelukast for long duration? It is safe to use this combination for long duration. But it is better to undergo basic investigation to rule out other causes.

I am living away from my family and I have to take food outside. My throat is itching and then I suffer from running nose and after that I suffer with cough and breathlessness for 10-15 days. This happens to me after 2-3 months. What should I do. And which medicine should I take. As I take levocetirizine and montelukast, and anti cold tablet. After that for cough I take Tussin-DMR tablet. But problem persist for 10-15 days. Sometimes I take SAUALIN also. Please suggest me.

This is due to heper reactive airways due to some substance in food generally oil or too much cold things avoid it and once you get attack take medicines for 6 weeks even symptoms subsides montelukast prevents so you have to continue even symptoms subsides. Consult your doctor.

I am taking solitair (levocetirizine and montelukast) tablet after every alternate day from last 2 years, is it harm ful or has any side effects? If so then please help me with some homeopathy medicine which help me with my skin itching (with red spots) problems along with this allergy problem I have hypothyroidism with TSH value greater then 150 and constipation problem.
