My neck and throat have been hurting. I recently got over strep that I had for 2 week! When my throat started hurting again I went straight to urgent care. They ran a test for mono and strep, they both came out negative. When I got home my neck started hurting even worse. I have no fever and my doctors are telling me nothings wrong. Please help. I have taken Tylenol for the pain and it does’t help, I’ve also been drinking hot tea and cold drink to soothe my sore throat. It’s like it indestructible. Also I am 15 years old and I’ve only been sick one time when I was 6.

I have been going to the gym for 6 months and have not seen much improvement and my personal trainer has suggested me to get supplements. I have came across a product called "Weider Prime Testosterone Booster" which contains Vitamin D3, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin), Calcium (as dicalcium phosphate, Zinc (as mono L-methionine sulfate) (L-OptiZinc), Chromium (as chromium picolinate) (Chromax, Diindolylmethane (DIM), Ashwagandha Extract (root) (KSM-66, Cordyceps Extract (mycelia) and Piperine (from Black Pepper). It has claimed to boost muscle growth and endurance. Is this product reliable?

Here’s my problem. I’m 15 and my boyfriend is 16. 3 weeks ago, we had protected sex, and it was’t the first time. The times before, my period had come every time. 4 days ago, we had protected sex again, but my period was supposed to start 3 days ago and it hasn’t. I haven’t missed or been late for a period in a few years. I’m just scared that i’m somehow pregnant, even though we used protection. The time we had sex 3 weeks ago, I was a couple days before I was supposed to start ovulating. I also just recently, as in last week, had blood work done for mono testing, and I was thinking any blood test would pick up hcg levels but there was nothing about it. Am I pregnant? If you could please help in any way, that would be great.

You need to do urine pregnancy test. It should be done 10 days after missing your period. For example if your date was 10th, then do the test on 20th. Before that it can give false negative or false positive test.

Husband's fever will not go down. My husband started to get a low grade fever last night (99.9). I told him to take some medicine before going to sleep, but he said he needed to sweat it out overnight. He woke up several times during the night and finally took some alive this morning when his temperature rose to 102.5 I made him an appointment with the doctor earlier. When he went, everything came back negative (flu, mono, strep, pneumonia, meningitis, etc.). The doctor even had an x-ray done to double check on the pneumonia. He said if my husband's temperature rises above 103, to call him immediately. Since the visit (when the temp. Was 101.8), it's dropped to 100.3, then back up to 101, and now it's at 101.6). The only other symptoms he has are headache, fatigue and diarrhea. He has been instructed to take 2-3 tablets of ibuprofen 2-3 times a day. I'm really worried about him. Anyone have any ideas? I hate to see him like this. He's whimpering in his sleep: o (Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I can't wake up on my own and I have excessive daytime sleepiness even when I sleep 10+ hours a night. If I try to take a nap, I can not seem to wake up for at least 3 hours, and even then I need assistance. I took a multiple sleep latency test, but because I also have intense anxiety, the test did not reflect my normal behavior. every time I began to fall asleep, I was jolted awake with a panic attack, but at the same time I could barely keep my eyes open between naps. The sleep doctor said he couldn't diagnose me with anything because I didn't show enough sleepiness. But how could I possibly sleep like I normally would if I am having a panic attack? I am wondering if there are any alternatives for diagnosing a sleep disorder that would be in less stressful environment so as to not trigger my anxiety. I have been taking vyvance which helps me stay awake most of the day, but I still find myself falling asleep at inappropriate times. The drug is also expensive. I am also on lexapro for anxiety, depression, and ocd- but I do not think that it is making me sleepy. I have had a blood test to eliminate thyroid, immune, and hormonal problems and limes disease and mono.

The test result shows: haemoglobin: 8.9 gms/dl, hct: 33%, tlc: 6200/cumm, mcv: 82.5 fl, mch: 22.3 pg, mchc: 27.0 gms/dl. neuro: 63%, lymph: 32%, eosino: 04%, baso: 00%, mono: 01% blood film morphology is as under: rbc: moderately hypochromic and microcytic mainly. Anisocytosis (+) poikilocytosis (+) wbc: no abnormal cell seen. Platelet: adequate in number on ps esr is: 68 mm/1st hour what is my mother's problem. Is there any serious issue?

Widal test for typhoid.
Urine complete n microscopic.
Crp as esr is raised. Till then pcm 650 three times or as required.
Cefexim 200 two times a day after food.
At the age of 68 anything means any problem can not be ruled out.
So please consult superspeialist.
