Hi, many a times, when a skin lesion heals, it heals with a bit hyperpigmentation (dark areas) or hypopigmentation (light colored areas).
Mometasone used for a few days should not cause such a problem. For proper diagnosis and management of these patches, I suggest to consult a dermatologist online or offline.
Stay blessed and safe.

Hi. HHfudic cream contains moderate potency steroid, mometasone. So it's use should be restricted to few days only, as it can cause dependence n local side effects in long run. You need to apply other creams to remove pigmentation containing molecules like glycolic acid, kojic acid etc.
You cam consult me online with your photographs for proper treatment protocol.

Wash with plain water after an hour. Stop using soap on face. Instead take a spoon of milk, add a pinch of turmeric (haldi). Mix n apply on face with the help of cotton. Leave for a few minutes then wash off. App...more
