I am using misoprostol tab kit at 2 times. Its use 45-60 days. But blud flow is normal. I am waiting next months period but flow not contains. Than I use again miso kit. At after total 90 days. That time much pain but no periods. So I am scared about that.

I'm a 24 years old woman. I am 2 weeks pregnant. I confirmed it via upt. I took a mifepristone and 2 oral misoprostol (200 mcg each) 48 hrs apart. I took another dise of miso 3 hrs later but I still have not bled like I was supposed to. Is the drug not working? Im freaking out. Pls help.

I suppose you mean you missed your periods by 2 weeks. Taking these pills over the counter is not advisable. Please consult a gynaecologist personally.

Cramping and bleeding occurs. And 3 clots of approx 1 inch large Brown color and tissue with bloods come out after taking up to 3 days after misoprostol. But now no bleeding. Today is 7 days from last day I took miso. And cramping occurring after 2 days break. Is it a sign of incomplete abortion or terminated? Tell me asap.

Health Query

I took mifegest kit - first the mifepristone then after 12 hours I took 2 tab of misoprostol, put under tongue and hold for 30 minutes but it ddnt dissolve, I swallowed with water after. After 12 hours I will take again remaining 2 tab of misoprostol. Is this process effective?

Mtp kit is to be taken under the supervision of a gynecologist. It can cause menstrual irregularity and at times infertility also, if infection occurs.

Hi Priya , if their is incomplete abortion which can give rise to infection and creat problem in future pregnancy .
Don't take any medicines without doctor's supervision.

Take the next dose 24 hours after the previous dose. The whole schedule is wrong. Lets hope for the best.

The ideal way of taking MTP is to take tab mifepristone followed by 4 tab of miso after 48 hr of mife. All 4 tab taken together give the best results. But there are other methods also of taking misoprost, like taking 2 tab of miso followed by other 2 after 6 hr. And many more. Yes it is necessary to take all 4 tab of miso.
