Dear lybrate-user,
The interaction will not be fatal or dangerous. It is undesirable since you may need more dose to counteract the side-effect (alertness) of theophylline in tea. For the effect of lifting depression, you may need less dose of antidepressant. These are theoretical - practically please observe and report to your psychiatrist. She/he will adjust the dose.

Dear Meenu,
7.5 mg is the lowest dose of mirtaz. You can discuss with your doctor about stopping it, if you feel okay. But during menopausal time, the doctor may request you to continue for few more months at 7.5 mg dose.

"hey lybrate-user,
I understand that this is a tough time for your family. While medications can be helpful, it may be very important for your father to seek emotional support and talk through his grief and issue with siblings with a therapist. Your therapist would help you to bring the thoughts and emotions triggering the depression, to your awareness and help you process them in a safe environment. So you learn to challenge the thoughts and behaviours perpetuating the symptoms in the first...more
