Dear Lybrate user, do not google your symptom, because it will exaggerate the side effects and information is also not authentic. Study of medicine is different. If your body is not adaptive to the combination of these two. Then the good way is to report your side effects to the current psychiatrist. They will change the medication or dose. Increase your communication with your psychiatrist at initial level, report the issues if you are facing. The things shown in this song is also truth upto so...more

Dear Harish,
i don't understand your question clearly. But i can understand your doctor's struggle to help you with combination of antidepressants. Your recent symptoms are not due to mirtazapine. Either they are due to withdrawal of quetiapine or your own disorder recurring at this time again. However please discuss clearly with your doctor your concerns.

If you are comfortable with only one Buprocare N then continue at same dose provided no withdrawal symptoms are there. Continue it till your psychiatrist advise. Mirtaz 7.5 mg is probably given for sleep problems. Its a antidepressant but with such minimal dosage we use it in managing sleep problems.

Thanks for putting up your query. Relapses suggest that the illness is not completely addressed or illness is progressive. Also depends forte contains escitalopram and clonazepam, and clonazepam being 'needed' for such a long time means illness is not completely addressed. Please discuss all issues with your doctor on follow up.

Hi. In my opinion mirtazapine is an antidepressant. It may or may not help in IBS. I never prescribe it for IBS. Your symptoms as you told may be related to drug withdrawal. Regarding stopping the drug you should consult the doctor who advised it. For IBS I can help you with few medications and lifestyle changes. Avoid unnecessary stress and anxiety.
