1Week gap is enough to reinsert mirena. Mirena releases a medicine named levonorgestrel which is absorbed in the blood and maintains a steady blood level to keep her symptoms under control. as it is taken out blood levels start dropping and symptoms may revert. so needs to be reinserted as soon as possible.

Mirena is contraception that can be inserted into the uterus for long term use. This insertion is done with a proper clinical procedure. The Mirena is a device that may be classified as a hormonal Intrauterine device (IUD). This device releases a kind of progestin, which prevents the sperm from travelling to the egg to fertilise it. This hormone basically makes the cervical mucus thick and makes the uterine lining thin, so that ovulation gets suppressed.

The periods' will mot stop and the Mirena is a hormonal intrauterine device (IUD) that can provide long-term birth control (contraception). The device is a T-shaped plastic frame that's inserted into the uterus, where it releases a type of the hormone progestin. ... Thins the lining of the uterus and partially suppresses ovulation.

Everything under the sun has the possibility of complication. Doctor compares advantages and disadvantages both before advising.
Some may get less bleeding, some may get very little bleeding and some may get only spotting or no period. Very few nothing happens and periods continue as were.

We need to roll out the cause of the heavy bleeding whether it is a polyp or whether it is abnormal and important issues so that you can take in endometrial biopsy based on which we can take a call
the tablet will help you for temporary e bleeding that can be reduced
but in case of abnormal uterine bleeding which there is no cause is found then mirena will help you because it is a progesterone releasing device which will help you inside the uterus for almost 5 years when inserted.
