Query hello doctor i’m 26 years old. I was perfectly fine before. I had acne on my face so doctor has suggested me to take “minocycline hydrochloride modified release capsules” as a part of acne treatment. After taking these for few days I noticed drastic drop in my libido and erections. So I stopped taking that medicine. On the other hand I did experience a lot of stress and depression in my life. Which has even made my erections and libido worse. What could have gone wrong with me after taking that medicine? Did that medicine mess up with any of my hormones? My parents want me to get married now. I done what should I do now. Kindly help. Thanks.

Not to worry. Minocycline is one of the acne medications normally prescribed. It doesn't cause erectile dysfunctions mostly. If you experienced any side effects. Just stop using it. Will prescribe you other antibiotics for acne. Stepwise treatment with proper creams itself will provide good results in most. If your severity is more .then will put you on other antibiotics without causing these side effects.

I am 24 years old female. Since 7-8 months I have got lot of pimples on my face. My periods are regular. After trying with home remedies I finally went to a doctor who suggested me bengel 2.5%,doxol and cutishine. Out of which I got allergic to bengel and doxol. So he suggested for minoz od 100, papulex and emolene along with cutishine for 20 days. And I underwent metaisse treatment one sitting. The burning from bengel is reduced but the new pimples keep on popping out. Even after taking medicine on time please help.

I have pcod. M taking metmorfin 500 mg 2 times a day and krimson 35. The day before yesterday my 21 day pill pack ended and yesterday my partner rubbed his unprotected penis on my butt. Is their any possibility if he didn't ejaculate to get pregnant? Is it possible if there was sperm in precum (though he went for toilet many times before the act) to flow inside vagina and m on pill and still can get pregnant? I was taking krimson 35 from november and I generally got my menses on the third day after stopping the pill for the month of nov. But today is the fourth day and I still haven't got any menses. I had cetrizine along with krimson as well as my skin treatment is going on (tab minoz er 65 & patadin) will these medicine reduce the effectiveness of krimson? Do I need to worry at all?

Hello,
you should not get pregnant if you have taken your pills regularly. However there is a a 0.2% failure rate. I think you can wait for a few days to get your period.

I am 26 years old and my weight is 52 kg. I am suffering from pimples/acne problem since 2013/2014. I 1st used homeopathy treatment but my problem was not solved. After that I went to a dermatologist in 2016 who gave 4 medicine namely ahaglow - s foaming face wash, taskap doxyric 100, munoz bpo gel, episoft ac. My problem was solved after using these medicines. I was using face wash and face cream given by the dermatologist. But after 2 and 1/2 year pimples were started repairing again. Then I used minoz bpo gel again but this time my skin started burning that's why I leave it. I am now facing pimples problem again pimples are reappearing again on my forehead and right cheek. What should I do now? Please give suggestions.

I am 21 since last 6 to 7 years I am getting pimples on my face and back there are also dark spots left from pimples. My skin is oily and my skin is sensitive. My wedding is there in next month. Hi, My name is Diksha, I am 24 year old unmarried girl. I had severe acne one year ago, then my doctor prescribed me accutane 10 mg and minocycline 50 mg alternative day along with tretinoin cream. I was using these medications from last 1 year without any break. I have PCOD also, for that I am taking krimson35 also from last one year. I was on diet also to reduce my weight. I lost around 9-10 kg in one year. Now my acne has perfectly gone some scars are still there. But my face has become very glowing and my skin tone has completely changed. I became very fair in compare to previous and my hyperpigmentation around mouth and forehead also gone. But now I am facing hair fall problem. So my doctor asked me stop medication except krimson35. Now I am concerned about two things. 1. After stopping accutane will my acne, dark colour, hyperpigmentation and bad skin texture will come back. Although I am still using tretinoin cream. 2. Why I am facing hair fall problem, is it because of these medications?

Hi, Minocycline can cause staining of teeth and infant diarrhea. Usually it is not advised during breastfeeding. And there are other safer options for acne.

Dear Sir I have sensitive and oily skin I am suffering from last month with irritation or burn in my face so being lots of pimple in my face and that same situation created two times since last two year and that situation created lots of pimple and acne and that sized are so big with pain and is a create black spot it disappear have long times but after sometimes I take some care and result gets no pimple for six to eight month but my marriage has fixed and I have only one month or since last month I have suffering some stomach gastric problem so that I have lots of pimple and being daily more and more so I have tried to controlled that but it can't controlled so I goes to dermatologist he gives tablet of azithromycin and minoz 65 and some oil free facewash for fifteen days but no effect from that so I am disappointed my marriage date is so close pls help me to controlled pimple and acne and also I have some anxiety and late night sleeping so that can create problem acne or pimple.

Hi make a paste of neem leaves and apply on the targeted pimples. If you cannot get fresh neem leaves, try to get some dried bottled neem leaves, steep for 10 minutes in warm water and use as a paste...apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water.. Take pranacharya b clean syrup 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Wash your face with any good ayurvedic soap containing neem etc.......

Aziderm 0.1% in night Now my face have no acne and after some time I am going for routine check up to doctor And now doctor change my medicine of night A- Ret Gel 10%. But when I apply this cream on my face I felt my face getting burn but that time I was ignore that, but in morning I was checked my face then my face is all white I mean to say my face skin is peel So please suggest me can I continue this A- Ret gel -10% or not?

Not really.if u don't have any more acne u can stop using a -ret gel.instead,apply aquasoft cream twice daily over the peeling skin.continue sunscreen.dont use soaps or face wash on ur face,let ur problem clear.
